If your domain name is brand new and hasn’t fully propagated yet, you will have to wait until it does (usually within a couple of days).
To begin installation, simply type in the domain name of your website or the URL of the “Install” directory into your browser. If the software is installed properly, an installation user interface should come up. From there, follow the directions and fill in any necessary fields. Somewhere along the installation, it should ask you for the database configuration info that you wrote down from the previous step.
Here’s a sample set of database configuration info:
- Database name = server_dbname
- Database username = server_username
- Database password = xxxxxxx
- Database host = 123.456.789.0
